      Take a glass, half fill it with water and then gently spin it in small circles until you see that little whirlpool form in the middle. That is basically what is happening inside your head when you spin in circles, except that the substance which is spinning is fluid inside your ears. That fluid is one of the things that your brain uses to help you keep your balance, so when the fluid is disturbed it’s difficult for the brain to correct and you feel dizzy.
