      Of the metals in the periodic table, Tungsten has the highest melting point at 3422 degrees Celcius, but it is possible for scientists to create compounds whose melting point can be even higher. Ask the folks in the New Materials zone about materials with the highest melting point and see what they tell you.

      Well, I am not a chemist, but here is what I learned from google. Wolfram or Tungsten is the metal with the highest melting point (of 3422 degrees Celsius).
